With Mural's add-on for Google Workspace, you can attach your mural directly to a Google Calendar invite. When someone viewing your invitation clicks the attached mural link, the mural opens in a new window.

To use this add-on, you must first install it. Check out our article on installing the Mural add-on for Google Workspace.

To attach a mural to your Google Calendar event:

  1. Create a new Event in Google Calendar.

  2. Click attachments in the Add description or attachments section.

  3. Select Mural for Google Workspace.

  4. Click Choose a mural.

  5. Select the workspace (and room, if applicable) where your mural lives.

  6. Click the tile for the mural you want to insert into the Google app. Or, click the plus (+) button to create a new mural.

  7. Click Attach to invite.

Now, the event automatically links to your mural for easy access.

If you want to add more than one mural to your Calendar invite, you can! Just edit the event, click the Add attachment icon, and follow the same steps from above. Then, save your event.
