When members log out of MURAL, they’ll arrive back at the login page by default. However, because MURAL doesn’t support single log-out (SLO), the member could still be authenticated in your company’s identity provider (IdP). In that case, MURAL would automatically redirect the member back to their MURAL account without having to provide an email address and password to log in.

A custom logout URL lets you change the redirect URL when members log out of MURAL. Using a custom logout URL safely terminates sessions and ensures session timeouts are properly logged (see our audit log events here). And, the member will be required to enter login information on their next login attempt. Examples of possible URLs include the IdP homepage or the IdP logout page.

Having a custom logout URL is perfect when multiple members share the same workstation or computer.

Contact MURAL’s Customer Success team with the logout URL you want.

Note: If you haven't set up single sign-on (SSO) and want to secure your members' authentication flow in addition to their logout flow, have a look here!
