Enterprise plan customers have the ability to display a disclaimer banner to members who access any of the murals in their company workspaces. Let’s say your company works with highly sensitive information that should be treated with extra care. You might choose to display a disclaimer banner to your members reminding them to take extra caution when sharing their work.

Note: Disclaimer banners are only available to Enterprise plan customers, and only company administrators can configure them.


Who can view disclaimer banners?

Only company members will see disclaimer banners once configured. So, you don’t have to worry about the banner being applicable to guests or visitors. Keep in mind that a member is a collaborator with a MURAL account and an email that belongs to any of your defined company domains.

Members will see the banner at the top of all company murals, and won’t be able to dismiss or close them while collaborating.

Configure a disclaimer banner

Company administrators can configure a disclaimer banner from the company dashboard.

To configure a disclaimer banner:

  1. Click your avatar in the bottom left corner of the dashboard to open User options.

  2. Select Company dashboard.

  3. Select General from the left sidebar.

  4. Select the Publish a disclaimer on company murals box.

  5. Type your disclaimer in the text field.

  6. Click Save changes.

Now your disclaimer banner will show to members across all murals. Company administrators can return to the company dashboard to change or remove your banner at any time. Changes will be reflected when members refresh their murals after you save your changes.
