Keep your content in place before, during, and after you facilitate a session. When locking objects to the canvas, you can choose whether any collaborator or only other facilitators, can unlock.

Facilitator lock your content
There are three ways to facilitator-lock an object — from the context menu, from the toolbar, or by using a shortcut.
To facilitator-lock objects from the context menu:
Right-click on a single object, or select multiple objects with Shift + click + drag and then right-click.
Select Lock in the menu.
Select Only facilitators can unlock from the submenu.
To facilitator-lock objects via the toolbar:
Right-click on a single object, or select multiple objects with Shift + click + drag
Click on the arrow icon next to the Lock icon in the toolbar.
Select Facilitator lock in the list.
All the objects you lock using the icon in the toolbar will now be facilitator-locked until you unlock the object from the toolbar or context menu.

To facilitator-lock objects with the keyboard shortcut:
Right-click on a single object, or select multiple objects with Shift + click + drag and then right-click.
Press Shift + Command + L to lock and Shift + Command + S to facilitator lock.
Note: Some browser extensions block MURAL shortcuts. To use shortcuts in MURAL, you may need to disable some extensions. |
Unlock your content
Any facilitator or mural owner can easily unlock content. You can unlock one object at a time or you can unlock all locked objects in a mural at once.
To unlock facilitator-locked objects from the toolbar:
Click on the Unlock icon in the toolbar.
To unlock facilitator-locked objects from the context menu:
Right-click on the locked object or a selection of objects and click Unlock.
To unlock all locked objects in a mural, right-click on any object and select Unlock all.
If a non-facilitator chooses the Unlock all option, the following message will appear:
