Just as you can invite people to murals and mural rooms, you can add collaborators to your entire workspace. When you invite someone into your workspace, they get their own private room. If you're on our Enterprise, Business, Consultants, Nonprofit, or Education plans, those outside of your company or organization will be invited in as guests.

Invite workspace members from the dashboard
There are various ways to invite members to your workspace. You can do so via email or invitation link.
To invite a member to your workspace via email:
Click the dropdown arrow next to your workspace name on the Mural dashboard.
Select Manage [workspace name].
Click the Invite people tab on the left side of your screen.
Type the email address of the member you want to invite to your workspace in the Invite people by email address field.
Note: You can add multiple email addresses at once by clicking Upload CSV and uploading a CSV file of the email addresses you want to invite. Make sure your CSV doesn’t have headers and contains a single column with one email address per row.
Hit Enter or Return on your keyboard to add that email address to the invitation.
Note: You can add multiple email addresses to a single invitation.
(Optional) Click the Include a custom message checkbox and type your message if you want to add a custom note to your invitation email.
Click Send invitation.
Your invitees will receive an email invitation with a link to join your workspace!
To invite a member to your workspace via link:
Click the dropdown arrow next to your workspace name on the Mural dashboard.
Select Manage [workspace name].
Click the Invite people tab on the left side of your screen.
Click Create link.
Click Copy link to copy the workspace invitation URL to your clipboard.
Share the link with the members you want to invite to your workspace.
Remove members from the workspace
If you are a workspace administrator, you can remove members from your workspace.
To remove a member from your workspace:
Click your workspace name in the left sidebar of the dashboard.
Click Manage [workspace name].
Click Workspace members in the left sidebar.
Click the Remove user (trash) icon in the row of the guest you want to remove.
Note: You can also hover over the guest’s row and click the More actions (gear) icon to remove them from the workspace. |
Manage workspace members
After you have invited members into your workspace, you may want to manage their permissions. This is available only to workspace administrators.
Other members can also be assigned as workspace admins. Read more about the different kinds of permissions our Workspace settings article.
To manage your workspace members' permissions:
Click your workspace name in the left sidebar of the dashboard.
Click Manage [workspace name]..
Click Workspace members in the left sidebar.
Check or uncheck the boxes to grant or remove permissions.
In the workspace members page, workspace administrators can also select multiple members and guests to make bulk actions such as deleting them from the workspace or changing their permissions all at once.
