Lock content
MURAL members (who are non-facilitators in a mural) have three ways to lock content: the toolbar, the context menu, and shortcuts. Creators and facilitators have additional locking options.
To lock an object from the toolbar:
Select an object.
Click the Lock icon in the toolbar.
To lock objects from the context menu:
Right-click (Control + click with a touchpad) on an object.
Select Lock from the menu.
To lock multiple objects:
Select multiple objects with Shift + click + drag.
Do one of the following:
Click the Lock icon in the toolbar.
Right-click (Control + click if using a touchpad) and select Lock selection from the menu.
To lock objects using shortcuts:
Select an object (or group of objects).
Apply a standard lock with the following shortcuts:
Windows: Control + Shift + L
Mac: Shift + Command + L

Unlock your content
Any member of a mural can unlock content unless it has been locked by a facilitator.
To unlock a locked object from the toolbar:
Select an object.
Click the Lock icon in the toolbar.
To unlock a locked object from the context menu:
Right-click (Control + click with a touchpad) on the locked object.
Do one of the following:
Select Unlock from the menu to unlock the selected object.
Select Unlock all to unlock everything on the canvas.
To unlock multiple locked objects with inclusive selection:
Hold down Control + Shift (Shift + Command on Mac).
Click + drag to select locked objects.
Do one of the following:
Click the Lock icon in the toolbar.
Use a keyboard shortcut:
Windows: Control + Shift + L
Mac: Shift + Command + L
Right-click (Control + click with a touchpad) and select Unlock selection from the menu.
Facilitator-locked content
If you’re not a facilitator and try to unlock a facilitator-locked object, the following message appears:
