If you’re worried about certain objects on your canvas being edited or deleted, you can lock them for safekeeping. Locked objects can’t be moved, edited, or deleted until a collaborator unlocks them again.

Note: If you’re a mural facilitator, you can facilitator-lock your content. This means only other facilitators can unlock that content.

To lock an object:

  1. Click an object to select it.

  2. Click the Lock icon in the object’s toolbar.

Tip: To lock multiple objects at once, hold Shift while you click and drag to select them all at once. Then, click the Lock icon in the toolbar.

Now, your object is locked and you’ll see a padlock icon in the bottom right of the object.

You can also lock an object by right-clicking on it and selecting Lock from the context menu. Or, use the keyboard shortcuts: Control (Command on Mac) + Shift + L.
