This article explains what MURAL reports are, the available data types, and how to download reports.

Index

What are reports?

Reports are downloadable files that provide many details about MURAL activity for your company in a raw data format. Use the information in reports to gain insight into collaborator actions, mural changes, membership status, and more.

Here are some sample uses for report data:

  • Conduct regular reviews of configuration settings.

  • Manage member attributes and MURAL access.

  • Manage software operation costs by monitoring use and engagement.

Specifications

  • To access reports, you must be a company admin on the MURAL Enterprise plan.

  • Reports are generated on demand, but reporting data is not real-time. Report data is made available within 24–48 hours of occurring events. If you request a report during the last 24–48 hour reporting period, the report may not reflect all events from this time frame.

  • Reports are in Comma-Separated Value (CSV) format.

Report types

Reports are split into two types: core reports and membership reports.

Core reports

Core reports provide information about an organization's account levels, and the association of collaborators at each level, using aggregate metrics. Each core report is associated with a MURAL account level: workspace, room, mural, collaborator, template.

Core reports include:

  • Workspace

  • Room

  • Mural

  • Collaborators

  • Templates

See details on MURAL's accounts and organizational structure in this article.

Membership reports

Membership reports provide information about collaborators and their details for the account levels they’re associated with. Membership is defined as the association of a collaborator to their account level.

Collaborator types include members, administrators, and guests. Association types (between collaborators and levels) include admin, owner, member, or guest.

Membership reports include:

  • Workspace Memberships

  • Room Memberships
