How do I hide and unhide objects?
1. First, you'd need to add the item to the outline. You can do this by right-clicking on the object and selecting “Add to outline.”
2. With the outline open, hover over the step that you would like to hide.
3. An eye will appear over the step in the outline. Click on this eye to hide this step from participants.
4. To reveal, simply click on the eye again and the step will appear again.
How do I restore the previous version history of a MURAL?
We don't have a version control feature yet, but our product team is aware of this. You can check the Activity Log to see the history of changes (additions and removals of content to the canvas) and can even restore deleted elements.
A workaround for now would be to duplicate your mural every so often just in case any drastic changes are made to the original.
How do I add a template to a Mural?
The best way to do so would be to create a mural from the template and then copy and paste the content over to your other mural. First, you'll want to right click on the canvas and select Unlock All. You can multiple select the content by holding down SHIFT + clicking + dragging over it. Then, copy with CMD/CTRL + C and paste it in your other mural with CMD/CTRL + V.
Here's how to do it:
What is maximum canvas size?
The maximum size of a canvas is 60,000 x 60,0000 px and we suggest using the default sizes that are available when accessing the mural settings (Default, Horizontal, Vertical) although you shouldn't have any particular problems with customized sizes. 😉
How can I share my content library?
We currently do not have a shared content library feature but a workaround would be to save the content from a content library to a Mural and then publish it as a template. That way all members will see the content from the template.
My Mural won’t export, what do I do/I am not receiving my export email?
If you're having difficulties exporting your mural canvas as a PDF or PNG, try some of the following steps: Make sure you don't have emojis on your canvas. These can prevent the export from rendering correctly. If you have a framework on your canvas, try replacing that with an image. (as this sometimes can cause the exports to break, our team is working on this). You can take a screenshot of the framework, then use that screenshot in place of the framework. If you have Asian characters (ie. Kanji, Hiragana, Hanja or Hanzi), try replacing those characters with a screenshot of the text.If none of these workarounds work, please write to ‘email@example.com’ with a copy of the URL of the mural canvas you want to export, and our team will investigate further.

Hold down SHIFT as you drag a connector to ensure it stays perfectly straight
Multiple select elements by holding down SHIFT + clicking + dragging over them
Duplicate by holding down CMD/CTRL + D
And you can use the align features to make sure your table has even spacing.
We also have this video tutorial where you can see how to create a table easily:
How do I edit a framework?
Unfortunately, frameworks currently are not editable. We do get this request from users often and the team is working on changing this in the future! For now a work around is to use a textbox with a white background to cover the title you want to change. You can then type in the new title in the textbox and lock it down so it keeps the old title covered. It would look like this:
Here is our article about Frameworks.
How can I add bullet points to Mural?
We don't currently have a bullet point feature, but our Product Team is working on this. In the meantime, a workaround could be to use hyphens instead, or to add icons as bullet points, like in this GIF below.
Note that you can create a line break by using SHIFT+Enter, to move text down to the next line.
How do I add a second page to MURAL?
Unfortunately, we do not currently have a feature to add a second page to a mural. We suggest to resize the canvas to make sure that all your content fits in.
There are some users that swear by workarounds like adding areas outside of the canvas or adding white squares to simulate a second sheet. However we highly suggest not doing so, as these kind of workarounds may affect the zoom functionality.
How do I create an indented outline?
To create an indent in the outline, you'll want to add an area within an area and add them both to the outline. You'll create the first area, add it to the outline. Then add the second area within that area and when you add that to the outline it will be indented. It looks like this:
