Download objects as a CSV file

MURAL members can download objects with text data (sticky notes, titles, text boxes, and shapes) to a CSV file for further analysis after a collaboration session. Included data: ID number, text, background color, sticky type, borderline, X and Y axis coordinates, area name, tag text, and/or hyperlink.

Notes:

Sticky note tags will appear to the far right of the column. If a sticky note has multiple tags on it, each tag in the tag text column of the CSV will be separated by a line break.
Grouped objects can not be downloaded as a CSV.

To download objects' CSV from the context menu:

Select an object or multiple select with Shift + click + drag.
Right-click on the selection to open the context menu.
Click Download to CSV.

Then you can find the CSV file in the Downloads folder on your computer. You can open this file using programs such as Google Sheets, Pages, or Excel.

Note: You can also click the Export icon in the top right of a mural to export your mural as PDF, PNG, or HTML. That Export window also lets you easily download sticky notes as CSV.
