COLLABORATING WITH MURAL ON A TOUCHSCREEN DISPLAY

Touchscreen displays like the Microsoft Surface Hub are all-in-one multi-touch screen solutions that empower people, groups and organizations to connect and collaborate effortlessly.

MURAL is a visual workspace that helps remote teams collaborate. Digital whiteboards empower modern teams and individuals to visually explore complex challenges and collaborate across time zones and locations. MURAL is available through your web browser, iOS and Windows devices.

COLLABORATING BETWEEN DIFFERENT LOCATIONS

You can open the same mural on multiple Touchscreen Displays in different locations at the same time.

Use Microsoft Teams or Skype for Business on the display for video conversations running parallel.

OPEN AN EXISTING MURAL

Step 1 - Open the MURAL app
When opening up the MURAL app on the Touchscreen Display, this is the first screen you see on launching the app*. Locate the code on the screen, you will need this code to send your canvas to the display.

*If you don't see this screen you might have to tap the gear icon in the top right corner and tap 'Switch to public use'

Step 2 - Send to Surface Hub

Open up the mural you want to project on the Touchscreen Display in your browser or in the Windows or iOS apps.

  • In the web app: open the drop-down menu next to the mural title and select 'Send to Hub'.
  • In the Windows app: tap the pink SHARE button and select 'Send to Surface Hub'.
  • In the iOS app: tap the share icon in the top right and select 'Send to Surface Hub'.

Step 3 - Enter the 6-digit code

In the MURAL web or mobile app, add the code that is displayed on the Touchscreen Display to send your mural to the Display.
