If you have information on an object such as a sticky note or shape and you want to be able to link to a relevant external page, you can add a hyperlink to the object. You can also generate a link for the object and use that URL elsewhere to link to the object itself.

Hyperlink an object

In your mural, you can add a hyperlink to sticky notes, text boxes, titles, and images. After you add the link to your object, an Open or Open link button appears in the bottom-right of the object. When a collaborator clicks the link, the hyperlink opens in a new window.

To hyperlink an object:

  1. Copy the URL you want to link to.

  2. Select the object you want to hyperlink in your mural.

  3. Click to Edit link icon in the toolbar.

  4. Use Control+V (or Command+V on a Mac) to paste your link into the Enter link field.

  5. Hit Enter or Return to save the link.

Now you're all set to add hyperlinks to your objects!

To remove a hyperlink from an object, follow the same steps outlined above. Then, hit the X button to the right of the Enter link field.
